The DA and EDP Soccer
The Development Academy program provides education, resources, and support to impact everyday club environments in order to develop world-class players. Following a comprehensive review of elite player development in the United States and around the world, U.S. Soccer created the Development Academy in 2007 to improve the everyday environment for the elite youth player.
The EDP exists to support soccer programs in the region which are professionally managed with player development as their primary focus. The EDP Cup was announced as the #1 tournament in the United States in 2014 and has previously been ranked among the top ten tournaments in the nation as well.
