Cedar Stars Academy – Monmouth’s aim is to provide a competitive learning environment where players are free to be creative without fear of failure.  We look to nurture a player’s intrinsic motivation to become a better version of who they were yesterday.

 

The plan for each stage of development is to continue to build on ideas and proficiency from the year before.  We strive to encourage players to go on a personal journey to understand and master the basics of the game of soccer.  We are looking for players who are searching to continually improve their competence when executing ideas, through good technique and game understanding, following CSA methodology.  We feel it is paramount that the players know WHY they should do certain actions.

Cedar Stars Academy - Monmouth services the immediate surrounding areas of: Freehold, Red Bank, Ocean Township, Long Branch, Asbury, Tinton Falls, Manalapan Township, Holmdel, Hazlet, Malboro and other satellite towns and cities, and has an eclectic mix of players and coaches from all backgrounds and origins adding to a blend of high caliber soccer and mentoring all round. All training will take place at the world-class Capelli Sport Complex in Tinton Falls, NJ.

STAFF QUALIFICATIONS 

• 5 – 35 Years coaching experience combined

• USSF Director's License

• USSF A License

• 3 USSF B Licenses

• 3 UEFA B Licenses

• 5 USSF C Licenses

• 10 YEARS MLS Academy Experience

• DIVISION I, II, III College Experience

• International, Professional and College playing experience in Europe, South America, Asia, MLS & NCAA
