TOLSTOY PATEL
DIRECTOR OF ROOTS PROGRAM
Coach Tolstoy has 7 years of coaching experience with grassroots soccer and U7-U10 boy's and girl's teams. He has been with Cedar Stars Academy - Staten Island since 2016 and prior to that with Staten Island United. Tolstoy is a USSF E Licensed and US Futsal (USFF) Level 1 Licensed Coach. Coach Tolstoy is the Director of CSA Staten Island's Grassroots Program - CSA SI Roots Program.
TEAMS
In addition, coach Tolstoy is the coach of the CSA Staten Island 2010 Boys and 2008 Girls.
SANDY RAPAGLIA
COACH / MARKETING
Coach Rapaglia earned a USSF "A" license in 1995. He is currently pursuing a Senior A license from US Soccer. His teams have won multiple State and Regional Championships at both Youth and Adult levels. Several of his players have gone on to professional careers. He is currently the St Joseph by the Sea HS Varsity Head coach. As an administrator Sandy sits in the US Soccer Appeals committee and has been a committee member at US Soccer Foundation as well as the US Soccer Coaching committee.

JOHN TARDY
COACH
Coach Tardy joined Cedar Stars Academy Staten Island in 2016 with more than 10 years of coaching experience and holds a NSCAA Premier Diploma and USSF B License. Coach Tardy is the former Technical Director and Head Coach at Staten Island United and is currently the head coach at the NCAA Division III CUNYAC conference College of Staten Island.
TEAMS
Coach Tardy currently coaches the 2002 CSA-SI Green Boys who were the 2016-2017 USYS ENY State Cup Championship, earning an appearance in Region 1 Championships. His team is competing in the Region 1 Eastern Premier League Elite Division for the 2017-19 season.
MICHAEL MEAGHER
COACH
Coach Michael Meagher joined the CSA SI coaching staff in 2016, when the former SI United SC became part of the Cedar Stars family. Meagher served as United's Girls Coordinator for two years. Coach Meagher holds US "E" and NSCAA National Diploma licenses and is also the Head JV Soccer Coach at Monsignor Farrell HS on Staten Island.

JOSEPH MEAGHER
COACH
Coach Joe Meagher has been coaching with Cedar Stars Staten Island since 2016. He previously coached for Staten Island United and holds a USSF E license as well as a NSCAA National Diploma. Coach Meagher is the assistant Coach of the Monsignor Farrell High School Junior Varsity soccer team.

JOSE ANGULO
COACH
Coach Angulo joined Cedar Stars Academy - Staten Island in 2016 with more than 12 years of soccer coaching experience. He holds a USSF “E” license and has worked as a coach with the former Staten Island United and Silver Lake Academy soccer clubs in Staten Island. More recently he became a volunteer assistant coach for CSI Dolphins Women's Soccer team, working with the team's goalkeepers , developing their skills, and honing all aspects of the sport throughout the season.

ARI DEMA
COACH
Coach Ari Dema joined the Cedar Stars family 2016 with 6 years coaching experience with SIU and currently holds a USSF Level E License. As a player, Coach Dema Played division 1 college Soccer at Iona, while also playing in the Cosmopolitan Men's League with the New York Albanians.

Coach Dema currently trains the 2010 Girls Courage and 2000 Girls Freedom teams.
