Cedar Stars Academy - Staten Island was born from the merger of Staten Island United and Cedar Stars Academy. The coming together of these established organizations, sharing such incredible history, and new found potential, create a tremendous environment that is sure to benefit the athletes as they continue to become successful people and players.

With more than 30 years of experience in youth soccer, Staten Island United (SIU) had provided a positive, player development structure to Staten Island, New York. Today, through the leadership of Directors Sinan Selmani and Martyn Rushmore, Cedar Stars Academy - Staten Island has added to this structure by incorporating the programs technical philosophies, leading to great success on the pitch and in the development of youth athletes.

In addition, the club's Roots program, which is led by Coach Tolstoy Patel, is recognized as one of the fastest growing introductory soccer programs in the area.
