Margot Ridgeway to go on trial at HB Køge
Cedar Stars Academy is proud to announce former stand out and Michigan alumni, Margot Ridgeway has been invited to a trial with OUR CLUB HB Køge, with the hope of entering the professional game.
Margot represented Cedar Stars Monmouth for 2 years in 2016 - 2018 where she competed in the then DA. During her time at CSA, Margot was routinely invited into the U16 USWNYT team camps and then the U18 camps.
College and Club
After leaving CSA Margot began her College adventure which spanned 3 universities. Her Freshman year she was at the University of California Davis. For her Sophomore to her Senior years she was at NC State. Margot then spent a fifth year, her Senior Graduate year at the University of Michigan.
Upon graduating College, Margot reunited with Cedar Stars family (that is what Forever Green is all about) as she became part of the inaugural pre-professional Cedar Stars W League squad competing in the USL W League.
Margot has now earned the opportunity to further her soccer career with the tryout for the HB Køge's Women's team. The current defending champions od Denmark and serial Women's Champions League participants.
